Alumni do not have access to our subscription databases and journal articles. If you still live in the area, you should know that anyone from the public can come into the library, use our computers and access almost all of our subscription resources. If you are not in the area, I recommend going to your closest academic library or public library.

MSU Library supports a variety of open access initiatives and organizations.

MSU Library even has ScholarWorks to openly share MSU research. These open access initiatives and organizations do great work making research available to everyone in the world via Internet access.

Use the Directory of Open Access Journals to find journals that are open access. Try browsing by subject.

Google Scholar finds both open access and subscription access resources. It can be a good way to find some open access sources on your topic.
