The library computers are part of IT Center Student Computer Labs and they have tons of software on them for MSU users. See the full list of Lab Software.

Broadly, they have programs for:

  • CAD and Engineering Design
  • Communication and Network
  • Course Supplement Software
  • Graphics
  • Literacy Enhancement Software
  • Mathematical and Statistical Computation
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Multimedia
  • Software Development
  • Word and Data Processing

For video editing, all of the PC computers have Adobe Premiere Pro installed and ready to use. This is powerful video editing software and works well in conjunction with the other Adobe Creative Suite tools that are also loaded on these computers. Try After Effects for animations, Photoshop for image manipulation, Audition for audio mixing, and Media Encoder for exporting video files.

For public computing, there is guest access to:

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Microsoft Office
    • Word
    • PowerPoint
    • Publisher
    • Project
    • Visio
    • Info Path
  • Notepad ++
