You must have a NetID to access online library resources from off campus.

Only current MSU associates and affiliates are eligible for NetID assignments; this service does not extend to alumni or patrons with community borrowing cards. NetIDs are a University wide personnel-asset, and as such the Library does not control nor administer their creation or assignment.

If you think you might be an affiliate, more information on non-employee appointments (affiliates) is available through MSU's Human Resources Department. If this situation applies to you, contact your supporting department to complete an Affiliate Appointment Form. Once you have obtained the necessary signatures, submit your form to the registrar's office; they are responsible for the processes that will generate your NetID and allow you to access online Library resources remotely.
