The MSU Library supports publication in journals that allow for open access deposit where possible. Thus, MSU Library is interested in negotiating contracts that support both read access and open access (OA) publishing that align with our negotiating principles. While we support MSU authors making their work openly available, we recognize and promote academic freedom—any agreements negotiated by MSU Library allow MSU authors to choose where and how to publish their work.
More information about library initatives and resources are detailed as part of the Library's Support for Open Collections & Scholarship.
