Everyone is welcome in the MSU Library! As a land grant university, our facility, materials (print and electronic), and service are available to the public. Anyone can use the computers (we have a guest login), access our databases on-site, and browse our materials. However, only MSU students, staff, faculty, and Montana residents can borrow materials.

Montana residents over the age of 16 can apply for a MSU Library Courtesy Borrower Card, by providing photo identification and proof of residency. Please note that Montana residents will not have off-site access to online resources.
